Partner-Session at 14th OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains: Metal Alliance for Responsible Sourcing (MARS)
This session will explore, from a practitioner’s standpoint, what challenges and opportunities arise for SMEs when confronted with an increasing amount of supplier assessments and audits, both at own and business partner facilities. It will also discuss the extent to which an integrated and holistic sustainability management standard might be a feasible solution that addresses the needs from business partners as well as legislation and establishes compliance regarding the necessary independent third-party verification process.
